Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson
From childhood memories, his first job at Atari (the game Pong), to iPad2, this book covers the life, thoughts, and stories of Mr. Jobs.  It’s a very big book, 630 pages, but each page tells a fabulous story. Mr. Isaacson tell the stories of not only genius, but of a sometimes obnoxious, manipulative, controlling, and totally brilliant man. Isaacson bring forth the abandonment felt by Steve as a driving force in his life. The hippie love affair of simplicity, utility and beauty lived in his high tech world. While not always understand all the technology, I enjoyed this book very much.

My Name is Mary Sutter by Robin Oliveira
If you enjoyed Cold Mountain, or a good story about a strong woman nursing in the civil war, you will love this book.
